The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with United Union Oil & Gas Inc. (UUOGI) for their intention to build an oil refinery and waste-to-energy facility in the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) as an expansion area (FEA).
In his message, AFAB Administrator Emmanuel D. Pineda promised AFAB’s active cooperation with UUOGI and shared this work is a major step towards AFAB’s goal of establishing a clean, reliable, and safe energy supply to FAB.
United Union Oil & Gas Inc. (UUOGl), is an international petrochemical trading company engaged in fuel processing, logistics, supply, storage, handling, and distribution.
Meanwhile, UUOGI Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer Bruce Bagheri expressed his pleasure to invest in FAB to provide more job opportunities in their plan to build a 25MW waste-to-energy facility and oil refinery with a capacity of 24,000 barrels per day.
The MOA stipulates the cooperation and ongoing coordination of AFAB and UUOGI to quickly execute their official registration as FEA and begin their scheduled FAB projects.
AFAB Business Development and Marketing Specialist Kelvin G. Rodriguez and UUOGI Secretary Mario Dalida also signed the MOA.
