More than 2,000 food packs were distributed by the city government and DSWD to typhoon Paeng-affected families who are mostly farmers and fishermen, through the initiative of Mayor Francis S. Garcia and Vice Mayor Vianca Venzon-Gozon.

The beneficiaries thanked the city goverment and DSWD for the food aid. The distribution is also supported by Sangguniang Panglungsod members and CSWD headed by Lalaine de Leon.

“Salamat kay Mayor Francis, Vice Mayor Vianca dahil lagi na hindi kami nalilimutan lalo na panahon ng pangangailangan. Salamat din sa aming mga city councilors at CSWD”, said beneficiaries.
