The Province of Bataan was once again hailed as a Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Awardee for the fifth consecutive year and has the highest percentage of passers in Central Luzon for the year 2022.
The SGLG Award recognizes local government units for their delivery of public service and adherence to national policies and programs. Bataan underwent national validation last August 30, 2022 at The Bunker with Governor Joet Garcia, Vice Gov Cris Garcia, provincial board members, department heads and program focal persons.

The towns of Bagac, Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Morong, Orani, Orion, Pilar, Samal, and the City of Balanga were also hailed as SGLG Awardees.
