The Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Bataan presided by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia unanimously passed a resolution approving the implementation of the agreement between the Provincial Government of Bataan and Korean Environmental Industry and Technology Institute (KEITI) for technical cooperation on the project, “The Master Plan for Marine Plastic Waste Management in Bataan”.

The resolution also authorizes Gov. Joet Garcia on behalf of the province, to sign and execute for implementation of the project. Board Member Tony Roman sponsored the resolution. Republic of Korea through KEITI and under its Green Official Development Assistance (Green ODA) provided support on marine pollution and plastic waste management in Bataan. Republic of Korea appropriated funds for the undertaking.
