The Bataan Provincial Board of Canvassers (PBOC), led by Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Provincial Election Supervisor Atty. Chris Ian Silva, officially proclaimed the re-election of Governor Jose Enrique “Joet” Garcia III early this morning at the Bataan People’s Center in Balanga City.
Governor Garcia secured his second term after garnering 388,011 votes. Garcia expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all Bataeños for their continued support and pledged to sustain programs, projects, and public services focused on improving healthcare, education, employment, environmental protection, and peace and order across the province.
Meanwhile, Ma. Cristina “Cris” Garcia was proclaimed to a third term as vice governor. Atty. Antonino “Tony” Roman III will serve his first term as representative of the 1st District, while Albert “Abet” Garcia and Maria Angela “Gila” Garcia both won second terms in the 2nd and 3rd Districts, respectively. For the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, Atty. Jomar Gaza, Mylene Serrano, and Dr. Godofredo “Bong” Galicia Jr. were proclaimed for the First District. In the Second District, Maria Margarita “Iya” Roque, Noel Joseph Valdecañas, and Vic Baluyot were declared winners. The Third District Board Member winners are Romano “Popoy” Del Rosario, Angel Sunga, Dr. Jorge Estanislao, and Roman Harold Espeleta.
