The Sangguniang Panlalawigan presided by Vice Gov. Garcia held its regular session in Pilar on Monday with Sangguniang Bayan as audience. Another anticipated event is the Hataw Takbo Bataan-Pilar Leg slated on October 28 at 4am. The run has three caregories: 3 Kilometers, 5 Kilometers, and 10 Kilometers. Top finishers will get medals. Gov. Garcia started this year the Bisita Bayan bringing government services closer to the people at the grassroots level in the entire province. Bisita Bayan is patterned to the multi-awarded and LGU best practice, the Barangay Week program which the governor introduced in Balanga City when he was mayor.
