Eleven completed extension programs from five campuses of Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) researchers were presented in the university research in-house review on Friday.
Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training Services Dr. Hermogenes Paguia said, the extension programs reviewed were from Main Campus, Balanga Campus, Dinalupihan Campus, Abucay Campus, and Orani Campus.
One of the four extension researches reviewed was Long Term Research-Based Extension Program “Health Beyond Bar” from the College of Nursing and Midwifery with Project Leader Dr. Ruby Matibag.
Reviewed from Balanga Campus was the extension program Green Marketing Orientation and Development of Regulatory Framework for Bataan SMMEs’ Food Processing Business.
In Dinalupihan Campus, one of the two extension researches reviewed was Marching Towards a Cleaner and Greener Dinalupihan by the College of Education.
Two extension programs from Abucay Campus and two from Orani Campus were also reviewed.
Paguia said, “The university wants more faculty members to conduct researches and extension programs”.
He added, “We aim to sustain the conduct of research and extension focusing on the agenda and thrusts of BPSU”.
Paguia said BPSU President Dr. Greg Rodis is pushing for the university to become a dynamic research and extension institution in Central Luzon.
