Bataan province is not to be left behind when it comes to Christmas lights and other Yuletide decors that make it a magnet for local and foreign tourists. The Bataan Tourism Office which is spearheading the tourism-oriented activities.
Just try visiting the new Bataan Tourism Park along the Roman Superhighway in Balanga City, roughly three and a half-hour ride from Metro Manila under normal traffic condition. The scenic site is totally engulfed in Christmas atmosphere with spectacle of varying colors and shapes during nighttime.
Last December 1, Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia led the switching-on ceremonies of amazing Christmas lights. The Park continues to attract people of all ages because of its cool ambiance and child-friendly environment.
Of course, the Christmas air would not be complete without soothing music and Christmas carols from Rondalla Romano, Koro Bangkal Magbikin, Jose Depero Kabataan Orchestra, St. Joseph Cathedral Choir, the choir from The Arsenal, and Koro Romano.
Mayor Tonypep Raymundo Jr., president of League of Municipalities (Bataan Chapter), Mayors Robin Tagle, Jopet Inton, AJ Concepcion, Board Members Popoy del Rosario and Benjie Serrano, Jr., among others, graced the December 1 event.
