Pusong Pinoy Partylist Representative Jernie Jett Nisay led on Friday the inauguration of a multi-purpose building in Barangay Bangkal, a settlement village for indigenous people in Abucay.
The building can be used by residents for various purposes to serve the legitimate needs of the community. It is complete with water and electricity provisions. Nisay, who helped in the realization of the project said his office will continue to extend financial assistance to barangay infrastructure programs throughout the province of Bataan.
His office has extended the much needed “ayuda” to various sectors of the community including seniors citizens, tricycle drivers, sports enthusiasts and persons with disability (PWDs).
Abucay Mayor Robin Tagle said the newly-built multi-purpose building serves as a symbol of unity and prosperity. “Ito ay palatandaan ng magandang samahan at kooperasyon ng mga mamamayan para sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng Abucay,” said the mayor. Tagle expressed appreciation to Bangkal residents for their effort to keep a peaceful barangay that continues to be a part of the town’s continuing progress. The mayor takes pride in his town churning out young people who excelled in their various fields of endeavor thus turning Abucay into “Bayan ng Mahusay.”
