Continuous progress in Morong

There is continuous progress in the town of Morong as well as genuine delivery of services to its constituents through the leadership of Mayor Cynthia G. Linao-Estanislao and Vice Mayor Leila G. Linao-Muñoz.

Mayor Linao-Estanislao said the vice mayor has been going around in far-flung sitios personally delivering services to see the condition of Morong folks. She said the visits of the vice mayor strengthen ties with barangay and community leaders for them to better serve their constituents.

The lady mayor also said they are installing solar lights in main streets and roads of their town. She said the street lighting project is a boost to local tourism noting the expected influx of tourists this summer season. She reported that Morong LGU has its own 1,117 college scholars adding they are allowing two beneficiaries in a family. Each scholar receives P5,000. She also reported farmers were individually given four bags of fertilizer per hectare recently while fishermen were each given P1,000 cash assistance before Christmas with all the funds coming from municipal coffers.

In the past, TODA members were also given financial assistance. The lady mayor also said they are set to resume the dental and medical mission which they are regularly conducting in their municipality. Mayor Linao-Estanislao also announced that the Morong cemetery has already been constructed. She reported that the construction of BPSU Morong campus and Morong district hospital are still ongoing.
