Gov. Joet Garcia is fully supporting the implementation of the I-Patroller Program in the province. He joined the “I-Patroller Bataan District 2” meeting attended by police personnel, village heads, and barangay council members from the district on May 28 at The Bunker, capitol.
The meeting aimed to strengthen the I-Patroller program, which is designed to maintain peace, order, and safety in communities. Each LGU in Bataan must have at least four I-Patrollers. In Balanga City, there are already more than four.
Board Member Popoy Del Rosario, Board Member Romeo Austria, and PD DILG Belina Herman also attended the event. PD Herman shared that it was her first time participating in the I-Patroller meeting, although she is very much aware of the initiative from the documents that pass through her office.
Gov. Garcia emphasized that communication is vital for the program to relay accurate information and allow authorities to act quickly. Barangay captains actively participated in the discussions, showing their full support for the initiative. Discussed was how the I-Patroller system is working in each town and exploring ways to improve the program.
