The Hermosa Rural Health Unit (RHU) has once again proven its excellence in healthcare after receiving top honors at the Provincial Health Office’s Annual Program Implementation Review.
Held at the Subic Riviera Hotel in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Olongapo City, the event recognized outstanding health programs across the province. Under the guidance of Municipal Health Officer Dr. Warren Valencia, the Hermosa RHU clinched awards for its successful implementation of various health initiatives, including: Universal Health Care, Health Promotion, and Non-Communicable Disease Programs, managed by Nurse Marianne Mañago. Rabies Control Program, led by Nurse Kathleen Tungol. 5-in-1 PhilHealth Accreditation Services, a collaborative effort between the Hermosa RHU and Hermosa Lying-In and Health Center, with key contributions from Dr. Genesis Panganiban, Rural Health Physician, and G. Sanidad Legaspi, Sanitary Inspector.
The awards reflect the commitment of the Hermosa RHU team to providing high-quality healthcare and making a tangible impact on the health of the community.
