Mayor AJ Concepcion is overjoyed for having another laurel on his cap, when the Mariveles Municipal Jail recently received three notable awards and recognition from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penelogy, Regional Office III for the first quarter of 2025.

Mariveles Municipal Jail is among the Top 5 Municipal Jails in Region III for exceeding standards on implementing BJMPRO III’s key programs and initiatives.

It also ranked 4th on Food Service Units in Region III, acknowledging their commitment to providing quality nutritious meals to persons deprived of liberty (PDL).

Mariveles Jail Warden JSINSP Abraham Lazaro was recognized as 2nd Best Municipal Jail Warden in Region III for his outstanding leadership, integrity and service to the community. Jail Warden Lazaro is grateful to Mariveles LGU especially to Mayor AJ Concepcion for the full support given to them.

Mayor AJ Concepcion said that, these awards demonstrate their dedication to excellence and commitment to build a safer, rehabilitative environment for the PDL’s.
