SM Supermalls led the winners of the 2025 Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards, clinching the prestigious Grand Stevie Award for Most Honored Organization of the Year. The recognition was jointly awarded to SM Supermalls, SM Foundation, and SM Retail—key members of the SM Group—underscoring their collective excellence and industry leadership across the Asia-Pacific region.
The SM Group earned a total of 42 award points, making it the most awarded organization in this year’s competition. The group’s consistent commitment to innovation, sustainability, and impactful community engagement helped solidify its position as a standout force in the region’s retail and corporate sectors.
Twelve Stevie Awards were conferred to SM Supermalls during the official awards banquet held on May 13 at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. Accepting the awards on behalf of the organization were Joaquin L. San Agustin, Executive Vice President for Marketing; Jefferson S. Suarez, Senior AVP for North Luzon Marketing; and Richard A. Caluyo, AVP for SM Cares, SM Family Entertainment Center, and Sports & Leisure Center Marketing.
Among the most notable recognitions was the Gold Award for Innovation in the Use of Events, given to the SM Art Market. The program reimagined retail spaces as dynamic venues for Filipino artisans and cultural showcases, enriching customer experience while supporting local creativity and entrepreneurship.
Several SM-led initiatives were also honored with Silver awards across various categories. These included the AweSM Visayas Festivals, SM Davao’s Kadayawan celebration, SM Cares’ Book Nook and Energy Efficiency Journey, and the SM Job Fairs. The Maki-Holo Christmas Spectacle at SM Megamall also received recognition, highlighting the brand’s consistent innovation in public service, community engagement, and entertainment.
