Bataan 3rd District Board Member Popoy Del Rosario has laid out a clear framework for the implementation of Family Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (FRVA) program during a meeting last June 5 at the 1Bataan Command Center.
Del Rosario who spoke before officers of the Department of Social Welfare and Development regional and provincial offices and Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) said the FRVA just like the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) is a systematic way of gathering relevant information in a particular barangay.
With the help of FRVA tool the LGU can easily identify the vulnerable sectors that need most attention of the government agencies, Del Rosario said.
“Through this systematic procedure, we can effectively collate data relevant to policy and program to be implemented in the vulnerable community,” he explained.
According to Del Rosario, this initiative is a bold step toward a more assured, resilient, safe and responsive local government management.
