More than 5,000 Bataeños trooped to the Bataan People’s Center (BPC) last June 8 to watch “Musika ng Kalayaan at Pasasalamat,” a free concert organized by Team 1Balanga, 1Bataan, and Pusong Pinoy Partylist to celebrate Independence Day and recent electoral victories of their candidates.

As early as 3:00 PM, excited fans were already lining up, eager to see their favorite artists perform live. The BPC quickly reached full capacity, with thousands more watching from outside the venue. The atmosphere was electrifring as the crowd sang along and danced throughout the evening, drawing praise from the performers for their vibrant energy.

The concert featured an impressive lineup of artists from Cornerstone Entertainment, including TJ Monterde, KZ Tandingan, Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, Sam Milby, Kyla Alvarez, Jason Dy, Zephanie, and Empoy. The entire show was directed by actor-director John Prats.

More than a victory party, the event became a celebration of unity, gratitude, and the enduring spirit of every Bataeño. Also in attendance were Gov. Joet Garcia, Vice Gov. Cris Garcia, Cong. Abet Garcia, outgoing Mayor Francis, Mayor-elect Raquel Garcia, members of Sangguninang Panlalawigan and other government officials.
