With the AFAB’s goal of attracting large scale investments in energy and infrastructure for sustainable and inclusive development, the delegates of the AFAB Trade Mission in Seoul, South Korea, met with Miss Anita Kim, representative of a proponent, with a proposal investment of 250 MW Combined Cell Power Plant.
The proponent of said Combined Cell Power Plant said that the facility will utilize liquified natural gas (LNG) as its primary energy source with a total estimated investment of USD 700Mreturn approximately for the project, of which USD 500M for the power plant facility and USD 200M for the accompanying LNG storage facility.
Meanwhile AFAB committed to providing the necessary information at the beginning of the exploratory collaboration to support the proponent’s on-going feasibility study and to top it all, Administrator and CEO Muhammed Hussein Pangandaman invited Ms. Anita Kim to visit FAB to gain a deeper appreciation of its investment environment and operational advantages.
This project aims to boost the energy infrastructure in Bataan and contribute to the region’s economic growth.
