Through the Iskolar ng Bataan Program, the Tulong Dunong Program cash refund of Commission on Higher Education (CHED) was done on August 5, 2025 at the Bataan People’s Center.
A total of 967 beneficiaries came from various colleges in Bataan, including: Bataan Peninsula State University (Main, Balanga, and Abucay Campuses), AMA Computer Learning Center, Colegio de San Juan de Letran – Bataan, College of the Most Holy Trinity, Philippine Women’s University, Microcity College of Business and Technology, and Bataan Heroes College.
Said program aims to provide financial assistance to students in need so they can continue their college education. It also seeks to expand and promote accessible quality education for all and to reduce the number of students dropping out due to poverty.

Garcia III highlighted several initiatives of the Provincial Government of Bataan’s program such as the Transport Network Vehicle Services (TNVS) for a cleaner and greener transport alternative, the eGov App for accessing the national government’s programs and services, and leveraging the modern technology for the province’s programs.
Also present at the event are Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Board Member Harold Espeleta, and OIC-OPG Head Jeffrey Calma.
