AFAB Administrator and CEO Hussein Pangandaman expressed excitement about the prestigious 5150 Triathlon to Bataan highlighting the event’s potential drive to economic growth and tourism high. “We are thrilled to welcome the prominent 5150 Triathlon to the Freeport Area of Bataan” said Adm. Pangandaman.

The FAB Triathlon is set to roll on Nov 16, 2025, making a historic FIRST for the province, which also means, a significant step in establishing Bataan as a sports tourism province, with Mariveles’s blend of scenic coastal roads, lush greeneries and top-tier amenities.

FAB Committee also said that the event will be an Olympic distance triathlon in partnership with IRONMAN Group’s Sunrise Event Inc., which will feature an important step towards opening FAB as a sports tourism venue.

Pangandaman also stressed that the event will showcase Bataan not only as a world-class province with world-class facilities but also as a catalyst for economic growth, a premier destination that will spur tourism not only in the province but in the region as well.
