The Provincial Government of Bataan has officially launched the Bataeño Pass, a unified digital Identification system designed to streamline public services and improve the over all citizen experience.
The launch, held at the Tourism Pavillon on February 26, was attended by top officials from the New Zealand Embassy headed by Her Excellency, Dr. Catherine Mcintosh; Creative HQ head, Jonnie Haddon; Regional Director of Phil. Statistics Authority and the Dept. of Information and Technology and other key stakeholders from the private sector and civil society organizations.
The Bataeño Pass is a digital Identification system that aims to provide a single, secure and convenient way for citizens to access various public services. The system is designed to reduce the need for multiple identification cards and documents making it easier for citizens to avail of government services.
One of the key features of the Bataeño Pass is its integration with various government agencies and services which enable the citizens to access services such as health care, education and social welfare programs with ease.
The Bataeño Pass will also be used in various schools, as it is now being rolled-out in two schools, which will help them for attendance logging, distribution of school supplies and enrollment processes. Teachers will also benefit from the system as it will digitize the processing of reports and documents, making it easier and more efficient.
The launch of the Bataaño pass according to Gov. Joet will be a significant milestone for the province of Bataan, demonstrating its commitment to innovation and citizen-centric governance.
Gov. Joet further said that, “We are proud to launch the Bataeño Pass, as it will revolutionize the way we deliver public service to our citizens, it is a major step forward in our efforts to make governance more efficient, transparent and responsive to the needs of our people”.
The Bataeño Pass is expected to have a significant impact on the lives of citizens in Bataan, making it easier for them to access public services and participate in the digital economy.
