Bataeño Pass aims to get rid of tedious paper works

The innovative Bataeno Pass which Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia has been pushing aims to fast track and simplify repetitive processes and excessive paper works in most government services.

The governor said with Bataeno Pass, ‘we are eliminating unnecessary hurdles and streamlining access to government services.”

During the launching of said digital innovation last February 26 at the Bataan Tourism Pavillion Gov. Joet said, “More than just an identification system, the Pass serves as a secure access card for various systems that require important citizen documents and information.”

The project gained worthy appreciation from New Zealand Ambassador to the Philippines H.E. Dr. Catherine McIntosh who was the special guest. The New Zealand government pledged to extend financial support alongside technical assistance to the success of Bataeño Pass.

Likewise, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Bataan led by Vice Gov. Cris Garcia, Board Member Atty. Antonino Roman III, Department of Information and Communications Technology, Philippine Statistics Authority and DepEd expressed full support to the project.
