Unmindful of inclement weather brought about by tropical storm “Bising”, Congresswoman Gila Garcia visited Morong on July 4 to look into the on-going infrastructure projects in the said municipality.

Cong. Gila along with Mayor Leila G. Linao-Munoz and representatives from the Department of Public Works and Highways inspected the on-going improvements at the Morong Evacuation Center which would accommodate local residents in case of calamities.

The lady solon also wanted to know the developments of the construction of government offices there and the town’s disaster preparedness program.

Morong town, a good portion of which is occupied by Subic Bay Freeport Zone enjoys its reputation as one of the peaceful municipalities in Bataan.
